Head of Compliance – NEX Trioptima

NEX Group are looking to appoint a new Head of Compliance – Sweden.

About the role

As Head of Compliance you are responsible for the Compliance functions for the NEX Group in Stockholm. You will work close to the business in a global fast-paced environment. You will be monitoring risk incidents and investigating these, and perform analyses to identify trends and topical control issues.

  • Drafting regular reports to the NEX Group, Swedish based boards and Management Committees.
  • Ensuring the CEO and Legal are kept up-to-date in respect of regulatory matters.
  • Providing advisory services to the NEX Sweden board of directors, CEO in matters relating to the various NEX businesses.
  • Overseeing US lobbying reporting for NEX Sweden entities as well as support for staff registered as US lobbyists.
  • Ensuring that NEX Sweden entities possess necessary licenses and permits as required by relevant legislation/regulation, or requested by the board.
  • Responsibility for devising and maintaining the NEX Sweden Entities policy framework (in alignment with the NEX policy framework), ensuring policies are approved by the board or CEO as applicable and communicated to staff.
  • Ensuring staff are briefed and trained on relevant rules, laws and policies.


We believe that a suitable candidate has at least 10 years of experience from the financial industry. You are probably currently working within a similar field. As a person you need to be self-motivated and enjoy working both in teams and by yourself. Further, it is important to have a good understanding of different cultures, together with a structured approach to your work.

  • An academic degree, preferably in law
  • Experience from regulated financial environment
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Diligent with problem-solving skills
  • A team player with high integrity; you understand the importance of the responsibility and stand your ground
  • Proactive and accountable in all tasks

A suitable candidate should be fluent in English and have a high level of attention to detail. You should also possess the ability to communicate effectively and have the ability to engage colleagues in a productive and positive manner. Proficiency in MS Office is a prerequisite.
