Job Description

The Fraud Strategy & Analytics team consists of four analysts who own the Entercard Group’s short- and long-term fraud strategy. As a Analyst, you will have a broad strategic mandate to mitigate 1st and 3rd party fraud in the credit card and consumer loan segments. Additionally, you will help set budgets and forecasts, perform continuous risk assessments, and manage strategies and rules. In this dynamic position, you will:

• Contribute to the construction of short- and long-term fraud prevention strategies.
• Find, analyze, and investigate patterns related to card and application fraud.
• Propose solutions that mitigate the company’s fraud exposure based on your analyses.
• Develop strategic rules and track their performance over time.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in data analysis, with a particular focus on fraud detection and prevention. As a Fraud & Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our customers and business from fraudulent activities by leveraging advanced data analytics and developing effective strategies.

Profile

We believe the right candidate for this position has:

• A relevant education and 5+ years of experience in fraud detection, data analysis, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages like SQL, Python or similar is required.

You should be open-minded, creative, enjoy problem-solving, and be eager to learn about fraud. To succeed in this position, you need to have an analytical mindset, be curious about new ideas, embrace change as a part of your daily work, and have strong verbal skills and the ability to present ideas effectively. Our corporate language is English, and you need to be fluent in both spoken and written English. Proficiency in a Scandinavian language (Swedish/Norwegian/Danish) would be beneficial but is not required.
